Dear Senators,

Very good beginning for our new season, folks.  Especially good that we didn't let a very early goal against put us off our game.  In fact, other than that one, we shut the Hurricanes out pretty well.  We went right on to outshoot them 10-4 in the first period, and then 5-1 in the third.  In these two periods our defense was on the spot and our attack had lots of good "pass-and-shoot" plays. 

The second period was all Mike's in goal.  Eleven shots, no goals.  Well done.

Overall, position was very good.  Cristian notably was in the right place a lot and quickly moved to a new position when the play changed, good contribution to both attack and defense.

Improvement areas.  Seems that we slowed down a bit in the second period and slipped a bit in covering opposing players.  Fortunately, no damage done, and we recovered nicely in the third.
