Here is the Sno Rider suit set for low temperature (37 degrees F) at 10,000 feet elevation in Colorado. It has more bulk than one might expect because I have a normal winter jacket underneath, and a denim jacket under that. My cellular phone and my GPS receiver sit in the denim jacket's two inside pockets, while my non-functional and deadweight camera hangs in front. In this picture the backpack and the butt-bag are not visible, but they are there nevertheless. I'm holding the mittens in my right hand. Overall, this was quite comfortable and very effective, even in nearly freezing drizzle. I expect it to be good down to five degrees, but I'll need something else for my feet at that temperature.
Thanks to my broken camera, this is re-created after
the trip.
